ASB to Host National Management Festival

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Asian School of Business (ASB) is hosting its maiden national-level management fest in January with the aim of providing students around the country a platform to showcase their individual talents and management skills.

Titled ‘Constello 15’, the fest will be held on January 10 at ASB’s sprawling 15-acre campus in Technocity. Thiruvananthapuram District Collector Biju Prabhakar released the brochure and the poster of Constello ‘15 on Saturday.

ASB senior faculty advisor V S M Nair, student coordinators and other staff members were present at the function held at the Collector’s camp office, where the official website (http://constello.net/) of the programme was also launched.

Actor Mohanlal has lent his support to the first such initiative by young ASB students who will organise and manage the entire event. In a video message, he said he expected it to be a “virtual treat for the eyes and ears.”

“Happy to know ASB is organising ‘Constello 15’ with a view to providing a platform for young adults to showcase their talents in various cultural and management events. I wish them every success in their maiden venture and hope that this will be the forerunner of many more such events,” the actor said.

‘Constello15’ will be open to management students from institutions around the country. It will feature a number of activities to put the intellectual, organisational and managerial skills of the students to test. There will be cultural programmes where young people will be able to showcase their individual talents.

Cash prizes totalling Rs 1.75 lakh will be given to the winners of various titles, including the best manager, the best management team, corporate walk, voice of ASB, the best photographer, business quiz and network gaming. There will also be a music concert by a top rock band.
